About

At TAFE NSW we offer higher education courses from Diplomas to Bachelor Degrees and post graduate courses as well as vocational (VET) courses. Our higher education courses are developed with industry input and are taught by industry experts, so you know the knowledge and skills you develop are what is required in the workplace.

We keep our class sizes small so that our teachers can give you personalised support to ensure you meet your learning goals. Our classes include a mix of theoretical and practical learning opportunities, ensuring that you not only learn the ‘why’ but also the ‘how’.

During practical sessions you will use state of the art facilities and industry standard equipment and software. Many of our courses include an industry workplacement, giving you real workplace experience as well as the opportunity to make valuable industry contacts. Our students are frequently offered employment based on these workplacements.

We know that some of our students have completed VET courses at TAFE NSW or elsewhere before commencing their higher education studies, so we will work with you to give you recognition for prior learning, which will enable you to fast-track your higher education studies. We even give recognition for work experience in a related field.

So what are you waiting for? Have a look at the range of practical courses offered by TAFE NSW Higher Education and get qualified for that dream job.
