Student Profile explained
What is a Student Profile?
The Student Profile provides an overview of the estimated number of students in each category at the given Higher Education provider. It shows data on all students who began undergraduate study in the previous intake period. This includes those admitted through all offer rounds, across all Australian campuses.
The profile table is available for the provider and each undergraduate course at the particular institution.
Student Profile Categories
The student profile is divided into five categories. Please see the description and information of each category below.

(A) Past higher education study
These applicants have completed a higher education course since leaving secondary education. They include applicants who:

(B) Past vocational education and training (VET) study
These are applicants whose highest level of study since leaving secondary education is a VET course. This includes study at a TAFE or private VET providers, whether the qualification was completed or not. VET students may have already gained other qualifications, such as a Year 10 Certificate or Year 12 Certificate.

(C) Work life experience
These are applicants admitted on the basis of previous achievement and do not fit in the other three categories. 'Experience' can include paid work experience, professional awards or service, and/or aptitude tests.

(D) Recent secondary education
These are applicants whose admission is based on secondary education completed in the current year or previous two years.
