About
Established in 1983, Excelsia University College is one of Australia’s leading Christian higher education providers based in Macquarie Park. We are an innovative and creative community passionate about excelling and growing academically, professionally, personally, and spiritually. We offer a variety of courses across business, counselling, creative and performing arts, education, and social work. Our students and alumni embark on a journey of lifelong learning and leadership.
Excelsia University College is a community where people excel, are inspired, and are challenged by our motto, Participate Lumen (Share the Light), to benefit the world by sharing the light of Christ and the value of higher education. Our educators walk alongside each student on their unique learning journey. With smaller classroom settings, students build strong relationships with their classmates and lecturers, becoming part of a close-knit community.
Excelsia University College fosters quality teaching and learning through the implementation of our vision, mission, and institutional values. We provide academic skills support, pastoral care through our Mission Engagement Coordinators, and free counselling services for students. Additionally, we host student-led events throughout the year, coordinated by our Student Representative Council (SRC).
We are proud to have students from over 58 nationalities represented at Excelsia University College, including the Philippines, Singapore, Nepal, and India. More than 80 per cent of our students speak a language other than English.
Many of our courses include practical training through placement opportunities, equipping students to become confident, innovative professionals ready to make a meaningful impact in their chosen fields.
